The Gaze Final Image
I work at a club at the weekend and recently I've been on the door charging people to get in the club - not very exciting, however while I was there I was thinking about Jade Birchnalls work and how she took photos of inside a place in a secret way and snapped away. I didnt look at the photos I had took untill I got home and quite liked them. All the images are of the bouncers door staff (they hate being called bouncers). I have worked with these people for about a year now and they are always fun to work with.
These photos allow a bit of an insite into the club and the door staffs lives almost.
Next time I do this I want to get more of the customers/clubbers entering and leaving the club. I think these will be much more interesting images. Being being thrown out, being sick and having a general good time.!
Final Image
My final image is a bit different to the orignal idea I was following. However I took this images and after editing it I decided it was more interesting as a single images and links more with the assingment. The photo raises many questions to the viewer and keeps the audience guessing and you can get lost within the image.
The orinal image had the model - Jordan Stevens whole face in it. But after cropping it, it became alot more visuable appealing.
More National Forest Images
Using Instagram I edited a few photos I took while walking in the National Forest.
Most images are took at the washlands in Burton On Trent but there are a few look at Albert Village Lake, Moria Furniss and Rosliston Forestry Center, all these are within the National Forest.

Thinking About Business Cards
I have recently decided that I want to start and make a move on more work, I want to push myself. Therefore I need a business card...
While surfing the internet I came across this image above and thought it would be perfect on a business card. Its funny, brilliant and memorable.
However even though the slogan is very cool, its just not me. I dont want to give that fist impression to people, I want a more professinal introduction and a business card is the key element when it comes to first impressions.
Simple and Bright
I have many cameras at home and I love the idea of having a beautful but simple image on the card that doesnt give to much away to the customer on what field of photography you are in.
As a student at uni I dont want to limite myself just yet. I dont mind most photography work espically while im studying, from nightclubs to kids birthday partys.

Typography book - research
'EVERYTHING is going to be OK'
-Typography Research-
When shopping in Birmingham for my birthday I came across a typography book which I fell in love with. Its called 'Everything is going to be ok' and its just full of beautiful images with text over them.
I've included to come images I found interesting which I took some inspiration from for my own work in a previous blog.
Front cover of the book
Whether its just drawing or a illustration writing over an image makes the images so much better. If you take the writing away in most images the photo or background becomes pretty boring. By adding some text is making the image as a whole come to life and make it a whole lot more interesting.
