Confusion with Clients
When my manager asked me to photograph Kirk the night he was arranged to come. My head starting filling with questions I needed answering such as where about was Kirk going to be in the club so I could prepare for how the lighting was going to be.... and what size he wanted the images printed and did he want the clubs logo going on the photos...
One of the problems that occurred is my manager forwarded me an email that was supposed to have the logo attached to but there was nothing attracted :s ...
so I emailed him back saying there was no gif film of the logo attracted and for him to resend it again.
I was panicking a little because it was a few days before the night and I had not checked the logo.
On the night when I arrived at the club I asked my manager and he was noticed the email had no attachment and resend one with the logo attached.
However when I got home I downloaded the logo I couldn't use it on photoshop. It was locked and I struggled to unlock it... I google it but nothing helped. I was stuck and only had a few hours to edit the images with the logo. I then remembered a knew someone who is a qualified graphic designer so I messaged him and he said he didn't know why the logo wouldn't work, he seemed to think the logo attached on the email was saved and sent as the wrong file.
I told him the club name that needed to logo on the photographs and he found one of the posters on a facebook site and totally re did the logo for me. IDENTICAL to original logo !
Other life saver!!!!
This is an other problem that I hope will not happen again because I will demand the logo at least a week before the event and make sure its the correct file that compatible with photoshop.
I feel like that day it was about WHO YOU KNOW, NOT WHAT YOU KNOW!

An old silent pond...
A frog jumps into the pond, splash! Silence again.Point, Line, Shape and Colour
Wednesday 2nd November 2011 - 9th November 2011
Point, line, shape and colour are the building blocks of design. From these elements, designers create images, icons, textures, patterns, diagrams, animations and typographic systems.
we had the option to use either a camera, a video camera or our mobile phones to capture the 4 words (point, line, shape and colour)
I chose to use a 5d camera which I booked out from college.
We had approximately 1 hour to complete the assignment. Due to the time limit we only headed towards the Washlands at the back of the college to try and find surprising and intriguing visual examples.
Point - this image is not one of my favorites out of this brief due to the image kind of sticking to the obvious. However I Like the con

When I take a photograph I am considering a lot of things such as composition, lighting, rule of third, and even how I'm going to edit the image after.
Usually when we have a brief like this with limited time. I go out with my camera with a mind set to find something that I stumble upon that isnt exactly sticking to the obvious and try and edit them to look professional and a well thought about photograph.
