Our class only 4 first year students including myself and about 7 second year students. So as a class its pretty small. As there is only four of us in the first year we decided to work together on the Chevrolet shoot.
Myself, Graham, Korin and Deb. We Also asked James to come along who's in the second year to shoot some HDR shots...
We all had a discussion at the start of the month about what ideas we all had and write them down so evaluate. We decided that our best idea was the 'romantic scene' as the tag line was 'make it happen'.
We wanted a man model to of pulled up in the Chevrolet stopping his lover from leaving either in a train or a plane.
We struggles to get anywhere near a train station due to health and safety reasons and not being able to get the car close enough to the train for the shot, without too much manipulation.
Our team member Deb thought of some photos her friend has took a while ago at an airfield close by to college. We decided to take a trip up to the airfield during dinner to check out the location and to ask for permission to shoot there near a plane.
The Manager Mark was a nice man and he was more than happy to let us on the ground next to an old plane.
Once we got back to college we had to write down all the equipment we were going to need.
Canon 5D Mark II x 2
Tripod
Ladder
2 lights
Filters
I text me sister to see if she wouldn't mind being the model and she agreed. However we struggled finding a male model for the shot. Finally one of the Alevel teachers suggested a student who would be more that happy to model for us. He was and he met us at the 9 the next day and came along! His name was Dennis.
I decided that I wouldn't mind sorting out the clothing for the models.
Our Technician got the required equipment ready for us in the morning for the shoot.
We arranged a meeting time for 9 o'clock and loaded all the equipment in the Chevrolet. Our teacher was the only person who could drive the car so we all met him there at the airfield.
We began to set up and start shooting away changing the angles of the car and models.

Typography Assignment Part 2
I visited http://www.pentagram.com/what-type-are-you/ to find what type I am...
Expanded Antique
Unfortunately I don't know much about fonts/types. But I was interested in the type I was chosen...
If you look at this table which i've grabbed from the website Expanded Antique is at the bottom with a percentage of just 1.6% And thats out of 447,234 people.
I think this proves I am unique ;)
The font isn't my favorite that I have seen and I wouldn't of paired this type with me at all.

For those who don't know what typography is : It's the art and technique Of arranging type In order to make a language visible. The arrangement of type Involves the selection Of typefaces, Point size, line length, Leading (line Spacing) Adjusting the spaces between groups of letters and adjusting the spaces between Pairs of letters.
It's a bit like type design.
It's all about FONTS and messing around with letters over pictures to create a new piece of art.
Mostly used in advertising.
